OUR SERVICES
As one of the area’s most prominent resources for high quality healthcare, Credit Valley Diagnostic Centre's staff is continually working hard to ensure that we provide you with an exceptional level of service, shorter wait times for appointments, and convenient hours of operation to cover any of your x-ray, ultrasound, mammography, 3D mammography (tomosynthesis), or bone density needs. With four locations, we are proud to offer the following diagnostic imaging services to our Mississauga and Milton communities:
X-RAY
At Credit Valley Diagnostic Centre, having your x-ray exams completed has become simpler and quicker than ever before. Using cutting edge digital imaging along with experienced staff, we are able to process exams with efficiency, and keep our x-ray wait times down to a matter of minutes. All x-rays are performed on a walk-in basis, with no appointment needed.
ULTRASOUND
Our highly skilled and experienced sonographers are able to perform a wide variety of complex ultrasound exams including - but not limited to - breast, obstetric, and musculoskeletal ultrasound. All of our technologists are certified in 'Trauma Informed Care', and with our continued commitment to re-investing in our staff and equipment, we are able to obtain exceptionally high quality ultrasound imaging that is delivered in a caring and compassionate environment.
MAMMOGRAPHY
Using industry leading equipment and technology in the field of mammography, along with our partnership with fellowship-trained breast radiologists, Credit Valley Diagnostic Centre prides itself on offering unparalleled quality healthcare to all members of the community. To that end, we are presently the 1st and only clinic in Ontario to offer GE's innovative Pristina 3D Mammography (Digital Breast Tomosynthesis) technology to our diagnostic patients. This marks a major milestone in the imaging community, and we are proud to offer women in the Mississauga and surrounding areas access to the same world-class 3D mammography equipment and technology that is utilized by the country's top cancer centres.
Our organization meets the highest quality standards and is accredited by the Canadian Association of Radiologists Mammography Accreditation Program. We are also proud to be an active member of the Ontario Breast Screening Program (OBSP), which successfully screens hundreds of thousands of women a year for early detection of breast cancer. The program seeks to provide the highest quality breast cancer screening while offering quick turnaround time for results, as well as third party oversight.
BONE DENSITY
We offer Bone Mineral Density examination appointments to our patient base 5-days a week at either of our Mississauga locations. These tests are conducted with precision and accuracy to ensure that your risk for fracture and/or osteoporosis is properly assessed.
All X-Rays are done on a walk-in basis, with booked appointments required for Ultrasound, Mammography, and Bone Density exams. Call any of our Mississauga or Milton offices today and a member of our staff will be more than happy to find an appointment time that best fits your schedule.

QUALITY CARE & TURNAROUND TIME
We operate strictly on the principle of delivering the highest quality healthcare available, and that extends itself to the full continuance of your patients care - which means getting the results to you quickly and effectively. As an HRM enabled facility, we typically issue STAT reports within one hour or less, and standard cases within one business day.
ON-SITE RADIOLOGIST
At Credit Valley Diagnostic Centre, we always have dedicated Hospital-based academic radiologists reporting on-site, daily. This translates into highly effective care for your patients, and immediate access for you should you require a sub-speciality radiologists consultation.
PHYSICIANS PORTAL
Our online Physicians Portal offers you instantaneous access to your patients imaging the moment the exam is completed. The portal is updated again in real-time with the report once one has been issued by one of our radiologists. Please contact our head office for access and more information.

WHAT MAKES CVDC DIFFERENT?

CAN I ACCESS MY IMAGES AND REPORTS ONLINE?
The short answer: Yes.
At CVDC we are doing everything we can to offer the most convenient and transparent services to our patients - and that means offering them online access to their imaging history. In a platform created and maintained by the PocketHealth company, our patients are able to create an account and share their imaging results with surgeons, physicians, or specialists without having to carry around and keep track of separate CD's. PocketHealth is being used in major Hospitals across Ontario and protects personal health information with the highest level of encryption, just as your bank does with your online banking. Pockethealth is also compliant with the Health Information Protection Act and has layers of built-in privacy features that include multiple verification fields.

CAN I GET A PAPER COPY OF MY REPORT/CD OF MY EXAM?
Credit Valley Diagnostic Centre is excited to announce that we no longer release imaging records via CD, and instead provide imaging records to patients and their care providers only through secure, online access. If your imaging is needed for a specialist or doctor for follow-up, simply call our offices and a member of our clerical staff will be happy to arrange that for you - free of charge.
